Your fancy space for discussin' whatever. Yeah, I've been busy.

I'm beginning to understand what people mean by "Long Covid." It mostly seems to be a stamina thing—it takes so long to get back to normal activity levels, as opposed to "normal activity levels for about 2 hour stretches, followed by exhaustion, rest, repeat." I wouldn't say I'm suffering from the "long" version myself, since it gets better each month, but that recovery is measured in "months" to begin with shows how different Covid-19 is from more common ailments. Yikes.

No worries though. With Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s new plan to curtail vaccinations to please the Brainworm Overlords, Covid-19 will have to earn its place in a hierarchy of new epidemics. Did you know that measles appears to have the uncanny ability to make your immune system "forget" immunities it previously acquired? And then there's always ... polio.

There still seems to be no urgency in the media, no particular feeling that things have gone off the rails to such an extent that the usual quote-scribbling, book-pushing and Panels of Distinguished Liars might not be meeting the moment. And the Democratic Party seems in a crisis of its own, locked in a heated debate over whether the broad fascist dissolution of law and order requires a more heated response than usual or ... not.

I don't know what to tell ya. The list of people meeting the moment is exceedingly short. But there will be a Presidential Military Birthday Parade soon, and won't that be interesting. Millions of Americans will get their own chance to block the path of a regime tank, humiliating Dear Leader and taking back patriotism from the seditionists who have stolen it. I can't imagine that there's nobody in America willing to try it.
